JavaScript Job: Technical Product Manager (m-f-d)

With our Styla team, we are changing the way brands and retailers interact with their customers digitally. Our technology enables stores to run a decoupled store front-end and PWA on their headless store system, with split-second load times and unprecedented stability, which boosts conversion rates, especially on mobile devices. We are now bringing this technology to market, targeting small and medium businesses around the world using BigCommerce store technology.

For our Product department, we are looking for a Technical Product Manager (m/f/x) who can be ‘the face’ of our product and represent it internally and externally.

Tasks

Challenges that you may solve:

• Conduct user research via interviews with key users (e.g. partner agencies, customers), questionnaires or other feedback tools
• Research & define features that delight our customers and make our platform even more powerful
• Prioritize product opportunities based on criteria that bring the product closer to its vision by moving the needle on focus metrics or OKRs
• Work closely with developers to develop, test and deliver features and improvements
• Effectively communicate the value and functionality of delivered features and improvements to users
• Analyze complex technical problems to find elegant solutions for users and feature designs
• Create content for scalable product support together with a technical support specialist
• Help shape a sustainable product vision and roadmap in line with the product & portfolio strategies

Requirements

For this, you ideally bring:

• Several years of experience in technical product management in the SaaS industry OR several years experience as a developer or technical second-level support with a keen interest in product management
• Excellent communication skills as well as negotiation skills in German and English language
• Basic web design knowledge (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Quick comprehension of new technical concepts
• Project management and Basic data analysis Skills
